In SAS® Merchandise Planning, an IPC_CONNECTION_BROKEN error might be generated when you submit a worksheet after using PasteSpecialAllAttributes in the worksheet. The following errors are generated in the peinst_cube_id_process_id_pe.log and indicate a core dump has occurred:
# # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: # # SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x00007f87e7ccffd7, pid=28306, tid=140221626263296 # # JRE version: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (7.0_65-b33) (build 1.7.0_65-b33) # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (24.65-b04 mixed mode linux-amd64 compressed oops) # Problematic frame: # C [libDAO.so+0x84fd7] CDimAttributesDAO::ProcessDataElement(unsigned int, CString&)+0x127 # # Core dump written. Default location: /apps/sasmp/SAS/retail/plan_61/scripts/meserver/core or core.28306 (max size 40960 kB). To ensure a full core dump, try "ulimit -c unlimited" before starting Java again # # An error report file with more information is saved as: # /apps/sasmp/SAS/retail/plan_61/scripts/meserver/hs_err_pid28306.log
The error is generated when there are more than 36 attributes defined in the copy_attrib_field_id_list in the maxdata.hier_level table for a given level (SKU for example).
There is no workaround for this issue.
